We would like to take this opportunity to share a little of our heritage with you. Carl and Sophia were united in marriage in 1893 and to this union came two daughters and eight sons. The two eldest sons Carl and Ed helped their father (Carl) build this beautiful farmstead in 1920 and 1921, Carl and Verna lived here from 1921 to 1928.
In 1928 Ed and Ressie moved here and made it their life long home.

Lacey (Borcherding) Elphic and husband Blair would like to welcome you  to the family.  Lacey is the fifth generation to enjoy this beautiful  home and they would like to share the memories with you.  You may  enjoy a stroll around the 2.72 acres listening to the sounds of nature  or take a tour of the old barn that was crafted five generations ago  on this NORTH CENTRAL IOWA FARM.

INNKEEPERS Rita and Dave Bowman are the newest family members and they  invite you to stay with them for a romantic getaway or just a quiet  place to relax and enjoy mother nature.  Families are encouraged to  stay and enjoy farm living.
